What is MSP?
The UK's Office of Government Commerce (OGC) is one of the leading sources of industry-accepted standards of best practice.
Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) a structured approach for managing programmes. It has been developed using the collective expertise and practical experience of some of the leading practitioners in the field. This means that it not only reflects best practice, but is also an accessible, workable technique that has been tested by those working in the real world.
NES AIM Academy is accredited to deliver training leading to the Foundation and
Advanced Practitioner Certificates.
We offer a range of MSP training through to certification which includes the MSP 3 day Foundation and Practitioner workshop, MSP 2 day Practitioner, 2 day Advanced Practitioner. This can be taken over a 7 day period as a full event or you can decide to start off at foundation level and revisit it at a later date and sit the Practitioner Level followed by Advanced Practitioner.
The Qualifications
Foundation - the first qualification consists of 50 multiple choice questions to be answered in 40 minutes. This is a closed-book examination.
Practitioner
- the 2nd qualification is 2 hours long. The exam is closed book, and consists of 5 questions, of which 3 must be answered. No reference material is allowed. The Intermediate exam is designed to test the candidates knowledge of basic concepts and understanding of MSP.
Advanced Practitioner - this is a case study question to test comprehension of the method, to be answered in 2 hours. One question of two or more parts must be answered. Paper based reference material can be used during this part of the examination. Pre-reading material is issued prior to the exam.
